It is my first assigment since I am the beginer staff at borobudurpark.co.id. Me and my new friend, Mas Agus Susanto , a marketing officer from P.T.Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko - Jogjakarta have been assigned to serving & accompanied our social media partners from Bangkok & Air Asia. They are invited by our company to review about Thailand Visitors to travelling in Jogjakarta. They are 6 youngs, idealistic journalists & 3 Marketing Communication Executives from Air Asia. They are very criticized for asking in front of us. They are digging whatever they found and saw in Jogjakarta. I think this is a new interesting fact for me...Being a Journalist is A Cool Career.
One of female journalist, Manouw said to me " Inong, just follow our duty in one day as a journalist, then you will understand & get our feeling...Why we always have a big curiousity when we works....!"
First time, I did not get the point on that, but by the time.... I knew what they want to and what they search for. They search something REAL & LIVELY on their reviews & news flash for their own media. I think this is VERY COOL JOB we have to learn.
I found some journalist they "Speak" only with their " Foto's & Obviously Pictures " to tell the stories. Some of them "Speak" with data bases and overview reports. The others Journalist "Speak" with words & sentences that they feel when they are on duty. Also they give me info that some independent journalists are writing, when the vendor have a special request for company benefits. They said they are profesional journalists. They only write their original opinion. But they always have privillages class in accomodation. Don't you think it's cool ? I wanna ask Airbus 380 for travelling, if I were a Journalist. Manauw & Ak said to me, some of them always got Aman Resort or Hyatt for hotel accomodation during on duty.
On Friday, 7th,Octobre, 2011 - We had special meeting with Vice Governor, Sri Paduka Paku Alam IX & Chief Departement of Cultural & Visitors Jogjakarta, Mr Tazbir,S.H.,Mhum at Kepatihan in the morning.
They asked some questions to the Vice Governor. Ak from "Lifestyle & Travelling" Magazine-Bangkok, interviewed him what the V.G wants in 5 or 10 years next for Jogjakarta.
The Vice Governor answered that he wanted Jogjakarta to be a DEMOCRATIC CITY. And he wanted that Jogjakarta has easy & comfort transportation to get around. That's way, he really encourages the new airport would be built as soon as possible at Kulon Progo. Coz the Adi Sucipto airport right now become too small to accomodate the visitors come-in.
